Where the boys are

So the "boys" are going to Indy. I can only imagine the "fun" they will have. I have heard murmurs of stories that have come out of that trip not to mention the recent email traffic thread that was started in anticipation of this trip. I am not even sure what the "red jacket" award is but I hope Mark does not get it. I am also sure all the boys will be rooting for Dana!

So me and the mieu (Lo) will be hanging all weekend. Perhaps we will go see Over the Hedge.

The most important question of this weekend will be can I feed a 4 year old from a take out menu every day this holiday weekend?

We may need to start our own tradition since the boys are planning to have fun without us! Maybe we can make the slumber party our annual Memorial Day tradition. Or hopefully there will be a little Tyson running around and the moms can take the youngsters to the beach or somewhere fun!

As a long term Indy widow, I think a Memorial Day girl tradition is a great idea. How about either a East Coast or Gulf Beach weekend with a Nanny!!!! Once Mark goes once he will be hooked. Just ask Russell. Sorry Donna, Memorial Day for you will no longer be a "family" weekend. I can guarantee that Mark will come back sunburned, tired and full of stories and ready to go back next year!

Well, if Mark's experience is anything like Russell's first Indy 500, he'll come home as Ash said - sunburned, tired and full of stories - and also without a voice. Oh wait, it's not Russell's first and he STILL has no voice! Sounds like they were trying to sing "Back Home Again in Indiana" loud enough for Jim Nabors to hear them or something. Those crazy boys!

I say we make up our own Memorial Day weekend, just the ladies.
